1st Class had offered auditions and their adverts claimed that they are looking for applicants to fill specific types of jobs. The adverts by 1st Class were almost identical to those by Model Factor.

Clearly you stand little or no chance; since almost no one actually looks at the website. No wonder Model Factor don't charge commission... They also advertise 'free photo shot' and charge applicants up to £350, for their supposed 'Gold Service' and so it goes on; and on...

Now these tricksters have set up a new agency website - only on 27 February 2010, called ModelModel.tv who ring up those - who went to a Runway Models venue, but did not necessarily sign up and pay £325. ModelModel offer actual work, but cannot give a date. Neither can they send any documents or literature about their agency - but they do demand £99 up-front. The agency is purportedly registered in the Virgin Islands. Does Erik Chandler have his villa there, I wonder?

In order for a 'business' to come under BERR Employment Agency Standards (EAS) Regulations, that business (Agency) has to offer a work-finding service.

Clearly 1st Class Trading Ltd/Images do come under EAS Regulations, since they offer a guarantee of a work-finding service or a full refund of your money. Mind you, the agency they find you, Model Factor, are exactly the same people - who also run 1st Class Images. This amounts to FRAUD!!!

An Agency who finds you - another Agency?

West 1 Casting Ltd then trading as West 1 Promotions only set up in June 2005. Earlier in 2006 they changed their name to West 1. But from November 2006 the agency started trading as Models One Promotions; (NOT to be confused with www.models1.co.uk). Then in February 2007 they changed their name yet again to Model Management Uk..In May 2007 they started trading as Models Unlimited...
By a strange coincedence Hidden Talent (Faces) & West 1,are both at the same address at Pinewood Studios; and appear to have the same staff. Erik Chandler is a manager and appears to run both of these companies, but the director now responsible for West 1 is Rebecca Moore, the original director was a Seth McDonald; he was also a manager for Hidden Faces; so he too worked for both limited companies.
Seth McDonald suddenly resigned his directorship of West 1, on 13 March 2006 - The address he gave was 31A Furness Road, Fulham, SW6 2LJ; but was he ever at this address? Does he exist?
We do know that an Eric Seth Irving is on the voters roll at Flat 2, 19 Finborough Road, London SW10 9DF.
Rebecca June Moore who was the West 1 company secretary, then took over the directorship of West 1; her registered address? Well this appears to be an accommodation address...
Let's not forget about the one and only current director of Hidden Faces Ltd, Gieorgia Villa, who was appointed on 25 January 2004. Her date of birth is 01/10/1982; so she had only just turned aged 21, when she became the director... Evidently, she must have had years of experience in the business? But, she is on the voters roll at that address!
The current company secretary for Hidden Faces Ltd, is shown as a Derek Pooley, at 2 School Lane, Penn Street, Amersham HP7 0QJ; but according to BBC Inside Out 16 February 2007, he has never lived at this address. Isn't it strange that Hidden Faces made no comment, when confronted by the BBC?
The current company secretary for West 1 is shown as a Sloan Savage and gives her address as 73 Inglethorpe Street, London SW6 6NU, but does she live there? Well, she is shown as living at 41 Romney Court, Haverstock Hill, London NW3 4RX; because she is on the voters roll at that address.

A certain Rebecca June Moore appears to be living with a certain Erik Seth Irving - at 78 Lower Road, Chalfont St Peter, Gerrards Cross, Bucks SL9 9AA. I wonder if this is true?

Hidden Faces Ltd, was originally named Eriks Faces Ltd; it also changed its trading name - to Hidden Talent on 16/09/06. The Company Secretary from 18/12/2002 to 20/08/2003 was an Erik Seth Irving; that sounds familiar; his address was shown as 80 Thornley Road, Ivor; but there is no such address. Evidently he had difficulty spelling. But, original director Eileen Hamberger, was also living at 80 Thorney Lane North, Iver, SL0 9LR; so they appeared to be living together; she resigned on 18/06/2003; I wonder why?

Another director who also resigned at the same time, was a Carl Schimbder he resigned on 18/06/2003 too. His address was shown as 40A High Street, Birmingham, B23 6RH.

Also... A certain individual has a judgement against him, at this address; for none-payment of a utility bill - in 2004!
West 1 (ex) director Seth McDonald date of birth was 10/02/1971. What a strange coincidence he had one of the same christian names as (ex) Hidden Faces company secretary, Erik Seth Irving now his date of birth was 10/02/1962!
It would appear that an Erik Seth Irving mothers maiden name was MacDonald. The plot thickens... Even stranger, is the fact that manager Erik Chandler also has one of the same christian names too...
According to Department of Trade & Industry (DTI) Employment Agency Standards (EAS) correspondence, Erik Chandler appears to run both of these limited companies and has been their main spokesman - to the media. Does he exist?
There is a Cameron J. Irving living at Kithill, Red Hill, Denham, UB9 4LE. I wonder if he has any connection...
West 1 doesn’t promise to find you any work as a model or extra. They do guarantee however, to find you an agency - for only £189! They did find you an agency like Regardez (see below) who charged a further £117.50. Regardez also went to hotel venues themselves; and charged £180!

West 1 Casting Ltd were supposed to file their first set of accounts with Companies House, on 08/04/2007. These accounts are now overdue; as at 28/07/2007; A fine will be imposed; but what was the reason why they have still not filed such accounts?

Their real address is in actual fact, the same address as the agency they put you in touch with, which is Hidden Talent/Faces!

Evidently this 'agency' is STILL trying to mislead readers...
..The Advertising Standards Authority have told the agency three times that their adverts must mention that a fee is payable (Now £189) but it would appear the agency is afraid to do this, in case nobody turns up!

Hidden Faces/Talent sent out publicity material (June 06) which still stated they were “One of the UK’s leading Casting Agencies”.Can they prove it? Hidden Faces are also giving the impression that they can find you work on: Eastenders, Family Affairs (Family Affairs ceased filming for good before Xmas) Casualty, Coronation Street etc…
They also state “OUR MAIN CLIENTS INCLUDE: THE BBC” giving the impression that much of their work comes from the BBC… Can they prove it? I wonder what the BBC thinks about this? I wonder what the Advertising Standards Authority think?

West 1 had made the bogus statement, that they have been in business for almost a decade. They promised the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) in December 05 that the agency would remove the claim, for almost a decade. Yet in March 06 the company was still making the same bogus claims. They promised the ASA in November 05 that the agency would state a charge is payable (then £179), in their advertisements. Yet since then; the agency has done the opposite by stating “Free Photo Test Shot & Photograph”, which gives the impression - that no fee is charged to successful applicants. .
